Data controller
Mariella Gutiérrez, language teacher ("Idiomas con Mariella"), based in Boca del Río, Veracruz, Mexico, is responsible for your personal data under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
Data we collect
Full name, email, phone (WhatsApp), date of birth, your class history and, for classes for minors, any notes the parent or guardian chooses to share. We never store card details: payments are processed directly by Stripe.
How we use it
To create and manage your account, schedule, confirm, cancel or reschedule your classes, send you the Zoom access, charge for your classes and contact you about them. We do not sell or rent your data or use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
Only providers needed to deliver the service: Stripe (payments), Zoom (online classes) and our hosting and database provider.
Security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only you and the teacher can see your data.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or objection to the use of your data, or withdraw consent, by WhatsApp at +52 777 557 2726. We reply within 20 business days.
Minors
Accounts are for adults (18+) only. Classes for children and teens are booked by a parent or guardian from their own account.
Changes
Any change to this notice will be published on this page.
